Hopefully everyone has something that gives them a pick me up when a transaction doesn't work out for your buyers or your sellers.
It would be interesing to know what it is that puts everything in the proper perspective for you. I have my secret weapon. It is my children and my grandchildren. Come to think of it, it includes all the members of my family and my friends. However, for this post I will concentrate on my grandchildren. By that I mean I would like to share photos of some of my grandchildren that I have taken.

These are some of the reasons that I do not always have time for Active Rain and these are also some of the reasons that life is always much more happy than not for me.
The young man in the colonial style clothing is my grandson, Reese. Reese was fortunate to have had a part as an extra in the HBO series "John Adams".
The bottom photo is my granddaughter, Sean, who likes to write. Perhaps I can hire her to blog for me someday when my fingers become too arthritic. Sean does not have pigtails this long right now as she has donated twice to Locks for Love.
Merrick is showing off a fish he caught which may not look very big to you but seemed to be quite large to him.
The two cuties at the top are Autumn and Max. Need I say more?
If I have a smile on my face most of the time they are some of the reasons why.

Mine is my son and my cat.
My secret weapon is my children...although both are grown - one is 25 and one is 18 - they still are what puts a smile on my face and puts everything into perspective for me. And I can only imagine how grandchildren will make me smile. I can't wait!
Thanks for the smile. Something about children that can just put a smile on my face. Here are some of my secret weapons! My darling granddaughters Rileigh and Chloe!
Oh Kate your grandbabies are precious - how nice of you to feature them.......they are the crowning joy of a life of motherhood........and obviously a blessing to you! Beautiful! :)
My secret weapon is my girls and my husband. I would do anything for them. Just a thought about them and I smile. They are my life, and like the song "everything I do I do it for you." We dedicate songs to each other. It is a free way to give a meaningful gift. That song was for my daughter Sarah. Her pregnancy was rough. My daughter Megan has" Baby, Baby," and Alyssa has "I got my mind set on you!" I just shared way too much. have a great night -Dinah
Kate: Looks like a really great group of kids. And... I am so impressed with Sean donating not once but twice... her long pigtails to Locks for Love. How great. ( Sean... hooray for you ! )
Hi Sandy...Good for you. I'm happy to hear it.
I have a husband, two sons and a daughter as well as a cat and a dog. My life is full of abundance.
Kate
Hi Lori...Even with the grandchildren, there's something very special and always will be about my sons and daughter. The grandchildren are an extension of that love.
Kate
My pick-up is knowing that there is another home out there that WILL work for them. I remember the $1.6M transaction that didn't work out for my buyers but then they found a great home for $2.6M. It ain't over 'til it's over!
The pictures are very nice and heart warming. Family's great isn't it!
Kate ~ What a proud grandma you are and rightly so. They are all treasures and your love comes through in your post. It is great that you get to spend time with them. I was very close to both my grandmothers.
Kate, your posts are just rockin'! I love your photos, so nice to see the kids.
Katherine, you are Blessed. WOW just beautiful, adorable grandchildren.
Kate, for me it has to be my five dogs that make my life what it is.
Your grandchildren are so darling ~ I can defintely see how they would be considered your secret weapon! My secret weapons are my sons, and although they are 21 and almost 19 and living away, my day always seems brighter when I see them pop up on my iChat so we can talk about our day. In the meantime, my other secret weapons are my pups, who always know how to cheer me up or help me unwind.
All that really matters is the people you love...and those who love you. The rest is just gravy.
Hi Richard...I'm sure that keeps some people going. It's always nice to know that things can improve.
Kate
Hi Cassie...It's the best thing without a doubt.
Kate
Hi Kathy...Looking back although I had time with both sets of grandparents it seems like it wasn't enough. That is why I try to be there as much as possible for my grandchildren. Even though they are young and sometimes they don't get all that excited (I hang around quite a bit) I know these are memories they will always have.
I'm glad you had the time with yours and the reminders.
Kate
Hi Karen...You're saying that just because you are my buddy. Thank you.
Kate
Hi Missy...Loveable! That's what they are to us. They are extensions of their parents, how could we not think they are terrific.
Kate
Hi Danny...Now that's a lot to love. You must look forward to getting home. The excitement they express must make you feel like a million dollars.
Kate
Hi Jeannie...As the saying goes, "It makes my day" when I hear from my sons or my daughter. Fortunately that's several times a week so there's lots of happingess in my life.
Having a very companionable dog and a cat that is becoming "friendly" after 15 years, I can understand the puppy business. How many do you have?
Kate
P.S. Folks, I do have a very special husband also!
Hi Kelly...That's right, it's all about relationships. Even here on the Rain, if we never got to connect with any others I cannot imagine we would be here very long. Contorted sentence but you'll know what I mean.
