Are you skeptical of the "too good to be true" emails that you receive day after day promising you everything? I am. However, once in awhile a great one comes along that really is "too good not to use".
This morning I received a message with some great information. It suggested putting a certain number into my cell phone. Here's the number because I'm sure when you see what it does you will want it also: 800-goog-411 (800-466-4411). It is one of those freebies that Google.com has become so famous for, a way for you to call information in just one easy step, and best of all, with no cost to you.
Now you will no longer need to pay for informations calls and you will no longer have to manually input the number while driving. Say for example you are planning to meet your client at a restaurant and you get caught in traffic. Simply hit your speed dial for information, when the voice at the end says, "City & State" you reply. You will hear "Business, Name or Type of Service." Reply with the name of the restaurant. You will then hear, "Connecting" and the next thing you know you will be speaking with someone at the restaurant.
You can input this number on your cell phone and your land phone speed dial. This service from Google.com is nationwide and it is absolutely free.

Hi Kate- This is really great information. I hope you don't mind me jumping in, but i work for 1-800-FREE411 which provides free directory assistance for business listings but it also provides residential and government listings as well (which GOOG411 does not). Further more, which may be especially helpful to you in real estate is that it offers FREE DIRECTIONS that can be sent to you in a text message. Give it a try!
