Lake Anna is for the young and the young at heart. Without a doubt, Lake Anna is the kind of place that answers the needs (or should I say desires) of all age groups.

Two of My Girls (Granddaughters)
Our family is a perfect example of that. We have three generations that love the lake and what it has to offer. There are so many different things that you can do here. Here are some of them.
- Swimming
- Wakeboarding
- Fishing
- Kayaking
- Tubing
- Water skiing
- Sun bathing
- Reading on the dock
- Boating
- Sailing
- Progressive dinners out on the water (if you don't know how to accomplish that let me know and I'll let you know)
- Photography (one of my favorites while out on our Tritoon)
- Canoeing
- Para-sailing
If you've been to Lake Anna and you can add to my list please tell me about it in a comment.
Also, if you would like to know how you can buy property here so that you can take part in Lake Anna's good living let me know and I'll be sure to help you.

Kate, Lake Anna sounds like a wonderful place for families. I have never been there, but perhaps I'll take my family to see the lake soon. My children would love it. Congratulations on completing the 31 Days Challenge.
Hi Elizabeth...I'm sure they would. There's a nice beach at the state park but it is crowded on weekends. During the week would probably be a better time to visit there.
Another thing you might consider doing is renting a pontoon and taking them out on that. Lots of fun.
Congratulations to you too!

Hi Kate~
My husband grew up on a lake and we have such fond memories of time spent at his parents home, just about every holiday you can name throughout the year.
Summer was especially fun because of the wake boarding, skiing around the lake, (we even had a few bare foot water ski experts in the family!)
A lifetime of family memories for three generations on Lake Anna is a wonderful legacy!
Best regards,
What are progressive dinners on the water? Or is that another post?
Hi Judi...Those are memories that stand out. What's not to love about a lake. I am so lucky.
Kate
Hi Virginia...Thank you for the comment and especially the idea. The next time we have one I will be sure to get photos and post about it and will let you know.
Kate
What a great list... I'll be right over this week-end!
No.. wait.. you're too far away.
Lake Anna is a wonderful place to spend time.
Lake Anna sounds like a wonderful place, and the girl do seem to love the water activities.
Congratulation on a job well done in the 31 day challenge.
Kate, I have always wanted to live on the water! Lake Anna sounds wonderful! I grew up going "down de oh- shun hon", I love almost any body of water! Anytime I can even drive by Baltimore's Inner Harbor I am at peace. What a wonderful way to live!!

Hi Judi...It's not that far (by air). Of course, that means you'd have to spend some time here but I think you would enjoy it.
Kate
Hi Jennifer...The girls love it here and so I. Yes, I made it through the challenge but than took a couple of days off. Two of the other agents in my office and I have been very busy thinking and planning for our open houses on Sat.

Hi Mortgage Mama...I met you at one of Margaret Rome's famous Active Rain gatherings. Baltimore Harbor is a fasinating spot.
I grew up in Connecticut on Long Island Sound which felt like the ocean to us, at least it's a part of it. However, my heart is here at Lake Anna and I'm glad I am too.
