One recent morning on my way to the Virginia Horse Center down in Lexington I crosed one of the bridges here at Lake Anna and noticed this house. Although the fog almost obscured the house and boat house I could not resist taking a photo. I'm not suggesting folks slow down on bridges unless there is very little traffic as we have out here. Even then I make sure no one is behind me or coming down the road.

This is precisely why my camera sits comfortably on the passenger's seat within easy reach of my itchy fingers. I am lost when it is not there.

Ohhh you take the most beautiful photos! Love the misty fog!
Wow! It sure is! Gorgeous! Wouldn't want to drive in it, tho! LOL

Kathleen - I like the shot of the home behind a thin layer of fog. It is that time of year we have a lot of early morning for here in North Florida also.
That is a great photo!
Kate this is too cool. There is something special about a fog except if I have to drive in it; then it is scary.
What a beautiful photo Kate! I keep my camera in my car door pocket...won't leave home without it! Thanks for sharing.
Very cool Kate. I haven't seen fog in years - but this photo reminds me of how spooky it can be. Once we were driving through Utah and it went on for miles and miles and miles. Very scarry drive.
I sure understand having your camera on the passenger seat - many of us in this group most likely do the same thing!
Looks like a smoke bomb exploede... hard to drive in that, thanks
Beautiful photo, kind of spooky and perfect for Halloween! I am trying to remember to look in the rear view mirror when I stop to get a picture... I am really trying.
Hi Kate, I stopped by this morning and wanted to come back and thank you for this wonderful post added in here to the Photo Blogger Group. Well done. That weather condition is very common here where I live and honestly, I never tried to take a picture of it. Great photo story.
