Memorial Day is a day of rememberance. We should remember all of those that have sacrificed their lives to keep ours safe. We should be very aware of that today and every day.
Why not also remember those that made a different sacrifice. Remember those that have lost limbs, have survived burns on much of the bodies, those that look physically fit but are scared emotionally, let us remember all those that have returned or are still serving who have lost a part of themselves.
Consider the families of those that have been sacrificed. Will our Memorial Day be more memorable for us if we do something for them?
Let us go beyond remembering and think of how we can make a difference for these men and women.
There are many organizations established to provide assistance. They require volunteers and financial assistance to do the jobs they are organized to do. We can donate to the following organizations or to many others established to make life better for returning vets and their families.
Please consider a donation. Although times may be rough for some in the real estate profession, for many families and verterans it is much tougher.

Very good, Kate. So many veterans can use assistance and SHOULD be given the help they need. I appreciate this reminder, thank you.
Hi Chris...Thanks for sharing my feelings.
Kate
Kate - I wasn't aware of those groups, but I am now. Thanks for sharing those links. It is paramount that all of us that enjoy the freedoms of America do our part from native shores to help those that fought for us.
