Today I took photos of a new listing. I really like the house which makes it a pleasure to list. It is always a bit more exciting when you like the property you are presenting for sale. One of the things I liked most about this property is the garden. One of the owners is a Master Gardener* and her garden is a testament to the designation she has earned.
Homes with beautiful landscaping are a pleasure to photograph and a pleasure to show. However, some buyers appreciate what has been done but have a concern that it may require too much work to maintain the gardens.

Fortunately, this particular garden has been nurtured to be much more self-sustaining than many. It is absolutely loaded with perennials ensuring beauty year after year. The beds have been mulched so well, again year after year, that the number of weeds is greatly diminished.
How wonderful to step into a wonderland and know that so much has been done to bring it to a point where most of the time you can sit back and enjoy it while still having a chance to get your hands in the dirt. For an ardent gardener there are always new beds that can be established and new plants to add here and there. With local nurseries close at hand to tempt you that might be a likely possibility.
This beautiful property is located at 74 Lakewood Drive in Windwood Coves, one of the many coveted subdivisions at Lake Anna.
There are other equally great features that are part of this property. I'll be writing additional posts with interior and exterior photos.
If this has spiked your interest and you'd like to learn more simply contact me and I will fill you in on everything.
*The Master Gardener program, conducted throughout the United States and Canada by the American Horticultural Society, provides dedicated gardeners hours of training and, in return, they give back to their communities by volunteering in many areas.
