The Active Rain Photo Bloggers Challenge has been a great opportunity to not only look at some of the wonderful photos entered but to also read the writings. Some of the stories are very touching, others funny, and a fair number that managed to link their photo with real estate.
Perhaps because I have pictures on my mind I decided to post another one of mine. Yes, I did take up the challenge with a photo I had taken in Tibet on a trip I took there in 2005. Here is one from another trip a short time later.
This is a photo I took about three months later in Antarctica. One of the joys of travel, especially these days when taking tons of photos is so easy with our digital companions (always at our side), is all of the photos that delight you over and over again year after year.
Every once in awhile I look through some of my photos and the memories come flooding back. That's true of the photos I've taken through 50+ years of travel and the ones I've taken here at Lake Anna. Photography adds so much to my life. Does it do the same for yours?
