When Was the Last Time You Read Them?

I was just reading a post that dealt with the need to abide by AR guidelines.  Many of the comments dealt with how members felt about those that do not follow the rules no matter whether it's because they didn't read them to begin with, forgot them, or simply felt that they did not apply to them.  It made me think of how important it is for us to read and re-read and re-read again, our CODE OF ETHICS

If we aren't capable or refuse to meet the guidelines on AR how well are we, as REALTORS, doing with the Code of Ethics?  The consequences are even greater.   When we don't practice the Code what happens to our reputation as a profession?  Isn't it jeopardized?  Who may experience a financial lose?  Our clients, both buyers and sellers?  Sure, we might also but tough luck.

Perhaps there isn't any correlation between how we behave on Active Rain and how we practice real estate but I have a suspicion there may very well be a strong one.  That could certainly determine the Rainers we would consider referring to and the posts we look forward to reading.

Let's try to put our best foot forward...I'm going to try hard.  Should I slip up be sure to let me know.
